Busan Business Hotel Review - Accommodation Near Seomyeon Station in Busanjin-Gu!

Our home in Busan for 2 nights during the Asiana tour was the newly opened Busan Business Hotel in Busanjin-gu. If you have an extra half day before you leave then you might just love the Seomyeon area where this hotel is located. Seomyeon has an underground shopping mall (like Seoul's Gangnam Underground Shopping Mall) with a lot of restaurants and stores like a big H&M store and Lotte Department Store with Duty Free above ground. Many thanks to the Busan Tourism Organization, Korea Tourism Organization and USTravel for introducing us to this hotel. Let me show you around in case you want to consider this establishment for your tour group or business trip. You can book this hotel here through Agoda.

The gang at the Busan Business Hotel lobby.

We arrived at night after a full day tour of Busan (45 minutes away from Crab Town in Gijang or Gizang where we just had dinner) and they were ready for us upon check-in. We stayed here for two nights. They just opened this May 2015. They had plenty of chairs for us at the lobby while we wait. While there's no porter, there's an elevator and our luggages were easy to roll.

We were given magnetic key cards and meal coupons for breakfast. I believe I got the Standard Twin Room at 24 square meters. There's no pretty view outside in my room facing the street but you'll just be in and out on a tour so this type of accommodation already has the basic comforts you might need.

There's a light-touch control panel near the desk and a master switch for the lights.

The bathrobe was waiting for me when I got there hehe. The bed and pillows were a bit hard and springy but if you sleep on top of the fluffy comforter then it's okay for me.

Two bottles of complimentary water was provided in the mini ref per day. There's a kettle and 2 mugs for coffee and a hairdryer. The phone is a bit far from the bed in my opinion - which is a too far for morning calls haha but it's a great exercise.

There's an emergency light, rope and extinguisher under the desk.

They had one universal outlet, USB chargers and a LAN cable. My other tourmates had WIFI in theirs but I didn't in my room and the lobby (I don't know if it's my device).

The airconditioning was centralized. When the lights turn off, that blue light kinda illuminates the room so I had to wear an eyemask.

There are 2 round-pin outlets near the beds so bring adapters ;)

They had local cable Korean TV.

A small safe is provided, hangers and disposable hotel slippers.

Here's the toilet with hanging space and big to small towels. It auto-flushes and has a bidet.

There was a rainshower and hand-held shower with a tub and curtain. The sink (hot & cold) level was just enough for my frame.

The water flow was good for the rainshower although it was not as hot as I wanted unlike the water produced by the tub faucet. This might be a problem so this is one of the things you should check in your room before you get settled.

I liked their vanity kit, esp. the hair tie hehe. Make sure to bring toothbrush though.

busan-business-hotel.jpg

There's a business center downstairs that's open for all if you really must use a computer like me haha.

This hotel is still young and deserves a chance. The traveller just has to come prepared. It's clean and has the basic amenities good enough for our tour group. If you have more energy after the daily tours then you can go for a night food trip maybe around the Seomyeon area. ;)
