Japanese-Inspired iSuites, Newest Boutique Hotel in Quezon City!

I was recently invited to the opening of the newest boutique hotel in Quezon City. Japanese-inspired and run by a very young student entrepreneur Mika Singson Mendoza, iSuites is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Gateway Mall, Shopwise Supermarket, the LRT Araneta-Cubao Station, Bus Terminals to the provinces and the Smart Araneta Coliseum. You can choose from 12 different room types in iSuites (scroll down below for a lot of pictures) and all rooms have free WiFi access (wee!), air-conditioned, free breakfast (yey!), cable TV, hot and cold shower, safety deposit box and minibar. There is also an elevator, security, the Tatami restaurant, covered parking downstairs and complimentary pickup to and from the Partas Cubao Terminal to iSuites. The only thing I would want more for iSuites is more lights in the rooms. I like the big rooms very much, particularly the Sake and Geta rooms, and it is perfect for groups of friends and up to a family of 8 (cheaper and with kitchens and living rooms too) while the small ones are good for both short and long-stays (rates may get cheaper)!

Let me give you a photo tour so that you can choose your rooms wisely =) It is arranged from cheapest to most expensive (but most expensive ones can accommodate more and has more rooms). The names of the rooms are Japanese icons =)

  2. I'm not choosy when it comes to hotel rooms but i definitely want a comfy bed and a super clean bathroom.. I'd love to stay in the Zen room at iSuites because of the false veranda (and the reason for it) :P

    ReplyDelete
  3. First I check the location of the place if it's accessible to most of the places/tourist spots I need to see. 2nd is the price, 3rd is the food hehehe. I do make sure that the breakfast is really good.

I do like the Kimono Rooms, the beds are all the same in quality (well based on the pics) so I'd just go for the cheapest :)

  4. Wifi, great entertainment, Good rooms I'm satisfied with that! And ofcourse good food! :) Isuites... Sounds inviting!

  5. In getting a hotel suite, I prefer that it is more convenient than home of course. The top items I consider are 1) Wide T/B with Hot and Cold Shower and COMPLETE necessary toiletries. 2) Queen Size Bed with LED TV (cable activated of course), 3) Has butler deliveries and breakfast treats 4) Strong WIfi COnnection 5) Good parking slots for car's security

  7. I look for balance between price, comfort & service.
Kimono seems to be just fine for me but if I'd just be spending the whole day inside iSuites I might as well try their premium rooms such as Emperor or Shogun.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'm always looking for the highest rate room but sometimes I realize that I need to be practical, in terms of service I know the highest rate room is also highest rate of service but this time being practical boy I chosen the Kimono Rooms :)

  9. I like comfy big beds and not too small showers/bathrooms (the more spacious the better but a tub can make up for the lack of space hehe). I also look at the prices in terms of amenities/value to price. And the TV has got to have nice cable or at least a media player of some sort if cable isn't good.
I like kitchenettes too from time to time so I'd probably get the Sake or Geta rooms as they have all the amenities and the price is similar to some 4-5 star hotels (when discounted). :)

  16. I usually look for cable TV, nice toilet, and reasonable hours for recreational activities (pool, spa, etc). The Geisha room looks like the best value for money if you plan on having a staycation with friends. Just bring a wii, media player, and order up some food and the night is complete.

I love manga, anime, cosplay, Japan in general and this will be a cool birthday gift for me. Plus on the same day, me and my girl will celebrate our 6th year anniversary. I’m planning for a dinner date at Teriyaki Boy in Gateway then watch a movie afterwards. But Isuites is definitely one of a kind, the cleanliness and the interior is superb! 75. I love the pics posted here. When I stay in a hotel, I usually look for comfort, affordability and cleanliness. I want to stay in a place that will not make me miss my home and would rather make me feel excited and happy about the place. I want to have a good experience about the place that would make me go back and stay again. I would like to take my family and stay at the Sake room, the style is quite unique with the loft and furnishings, makes me feel like im staying in my own condo unit rather than a hotel. Everything seems ok there, except that I keep seing the ladder in the pics, I dont know if its part of the design or was just placed there.. it looked out of place. Anyways, the hotel esp the rooms looked really cool. When I stay there, I will be sure to hit the malls, SM North and Trinoma. Or go to Ace Spa, my kids love it there. Or go to Gateway, which is near the hotel. So many places to go...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  79. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when choosing hotel rooms. Of course, affordability is another. And next is comfort/convenience.Who wants to stay in uncomfortable surroundings (clogged drains in showers, etc.)?I'd choose the Shinden Rooom because it looks homey, and perfect for me, my mom and my sis and her daughter. :) If I were to stay at iSuites, I'd probably drop by at Gateway Mall, for a great shopping and dining experience.
