Logos stands for "the word" in Greek. The Logos Hope was launched last February 2009 and is the only operational vessel today of the German-based non-profit organization Good Books for All. I admire them for being bringers of knowledge and hope to the world. Some say it's the largest floating library or bookstore in the world.
The entrance is free for children aged 0 to 15 years, while visitors over 16 years can still hop on for P20. Those who wish to catch it in Manila can go to Pier 15 in South Harbor behind Manila Hotel until March 13, 2012, Tuesdays to Saturdays 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sundays 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Logos Hope will proceed to Subic after Manila and will stay docked from March 15 to April 7, 2012.
